Kim was born and raised in New Zealand where she was actively involved in dance, theatre and the performing arts. Kim went to Victoria University of Wellington where she completed an LLB/BA – Politics and Theatre. After 7 weeks at a law firm Kim decided she was not being true to who she really was and quit to go traveling.

In 2013 Kim launched NZ Dance Network offering regional dance workshops, dance classes and overseas dance tours to help NZ dancers follow their dreams. Based on the incredible success of NZDN Tours and a desire to take the concept global, Kim launched World Class Dance Tours to inspire, empower and excite dancers worldwide. Kim has won numerous entrepreneurial awards such as Rock Your Business NZ and the Global Entrepreneur X-Factor Competition.

Over the last 10 years Kim has transformed her life into one of passion and purpose, combining her love of the arts, travel (all 7 continents) and personal development into a business committed to empowering dancers to live out their full potential.

Kim resides between New Zealand & the USA and is married to her wonderful American husband Jason.

Hailing from sunny Hawke’s Bay, Bella has fond memories of her earlier days spent being active in gymnastics, dance and piano lessons.

After years spent honing her skills in Sales, Project Coordination and Recruitment in both public and private sectors in New Zealand and the U.K, in 2014 she decided to lose the suits and heels (well, most of them) and travelled to South Africa to fulfill a lifelong dream of volunteering with big cats.

Whilst in South Africa, she teamed up with the fabulous Kim Davey on a WCDT promotion and has never looked back.

Already an avid traveller, Bella now has the ability to follow the summer around between New Zealand, South Africa and the U.K doing what she loves – offering the experience of a lifetime to dancers all over the world!

Originally from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Katie was an avid dancer through out her schooling years.

She went on to study at Otago University, graduating in Nutrition and Food Science. In recent years Katie has expanded her interest for health and nutrition by studying the IOC Sports Nutrition Diploma.

Katie is a keen traveller and because of this, is never in one place for too long. She is currently residing in Europe, her ‘home’ for the past 6 years, while working in the rallying world. She enjoys trips back to New Zealand, and tries to do this as much as possible.

Dancing continues to be a great passion in Katie’s life, and she is thrilled to now be part of the WCDT Team. The idea of offering once in a lifetime opportunities to aspiring dancers, while allowing them to travel and explore the globe is something she is very aligned to.

Jasmyne Chung

Jasmyne has 10 years’ experience in communications and public relations. She lives and breathes the arts (almost literally; sometimes we think she breathes music instead of air, sings instead of talks and dances in place of walking). Jasmyne travels the world working on major international arts events such as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (the biggest performing arts festival in the world) and the Festival of Pacific Arts (where 27 Pacific nations come together to showcase their indigenous arts and culture). She also works for Creative New Zealand, a government agency that encourages, promotes and supports the arts – which includes funding some of Aotearoa New Zealand’s incredible dance companies.

With a background in dance, music and singing, Jasmyne has performed in a number of New Zealand musical theatre productions (her favourite role being a Dynamite in Hairspray), sung in a band and performs with a dance crew. Also a professional photographer, she particularly enjoys photographing performers, especially dancers.

A passionate advocate for doing what you love, Jasmyne delights in working with young people and inspiring them to live to their true potential. She finds great fulfilment in watching dancers flourish during our life-changing tours – both as talented dancers and as pretty awesome human beings.
